This guy is my absolute HERO!!
Artist Matthew Albanese creates small-scale detailed models using common household materials to create rich landscapes. Using materials like cotton, sugar, tile grout, charcoal, a range of spices, and other easily available materials, Alabanese molds his “strange worlds.”
He uses false perspective to make his miniatures look like a life-size photo-realistic scene. just looking at his images make me want to start creating models! he is a huge inspiration of mine.
Here are just a few examples of his astonishing work.
every blog makes me more convinced that this is what i want to do, not just to create models, but to bring them to life!!
and animation is a perfect gate in which to do so!
